Small Suggestions:
You must show enough assets.. (IMMOVABLE ASSETS like land.. building.. etc.) that certify that u will surely come back 2 india after completion of studies..
and those liquid assets must come from the close relationship... (father, mother, brother/sister)... the amounts transactions/bank account should also be shown to be atleast six months old..
PLZ DO NOT PUT IN A SINGLE OR COUPLE OF LARGE SUMS OF MONEY INTO UR BANK ACCOUNTS B4 THE VISA INTERVIEW. MAKE "STEADY DEPOSITS" FOR A PERIOD OF ATLEAST 6 MONTHS B4 OBTAINING THE TRANSACTION STATEMENTS. IF THE ABOVE MISTAKE IS DONE, VISA OFFICERS R UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT U HAVE BORROWED MONEY FROM SOMEONE ELSE JUST 2 SHOW IN THE INTERVIEW THAT U HAVE ENOUGH MONEY 4 EDUCATION...
I was rejected on 7 dec ( spring 07) .....he asked me juss 3Q gimme ur acads scores and baklogs...then asked who is gonna sponser U.... I replied like my parents r working in so n so companies and they r having so n so sarilies...he asked for salary statements...I gave it... had a look at them and told U dont have money...I replied I do have money... I was explaining him abt fixed deposits and other sources He told sorry i don nothave a visa for u... my univ fee is 30 K per yer as stated in i20..... I m thinking to change the univ......and apply again for fall .

Hello,I was rejected on june 18th and my slot was at 7:30am.
VO asked me to show my toefl.gre score reports.he aslo asked me to show my btech certificates.i showd him.then he asked wat's ur dad.i told him,asked me to show my dad's it returns.showd him again.then he asked are u taking any loan.i told no,we have our savings.immediately he asked to show the passbook.but i only took the bank statement.i was not having the passbok.i told him that this is bank statement.he was not satisfied.gave all my doc's back.i was rejected.
i went for F1 visa...as my bank deposits were recent, the vo was not convinced abt my funds, he rejected me. then after 2 weeks i went again and the next time the lady visa officer(vo) said that she was not convinced abt my course and she said that my intentions are not to return to india after masters.... thats it, it happend on june 13 th
i got my visa rejected on 25th june and the reason is lack of funds even though i showed enough of them (4 the college fee of around 25,000$ per year i showed them 24 lakhs bank balance, my dad annual income of around 3.4 and my mom around 1.5 and fixed deposits of around 6lakhs pf ).
.i got my visa rejected on 6th july...delhi..under section 214b
Though they did not ask me about any docs but as i was very tensed, they saw it on my face and found i doubtful that i would return back to India
i completed MCA and applied for visa on july7th and was rejected by old lady stating the reason as no need of second masters as u already holding one masters MCA...

i think my raeson of denial was low my BVSc score , without GMAT .. if my score was low must have to write gmat ... second i have not my job experience ... currently m doing govt job and i have must show work experience of my job as VO have asked me have u worked in vet hospital ...
next onth im writing gmat ... and next time i will show work experince as vet doctor to VO ... im again appearing in US interview in april 08 .

i got rejected in my f1 visa interview on 30th may at islamabad embassy pakistan, vo was a pakistani lady, she just asked what will you do after ms? i said i will come back continue my job here in pakistan. she just gave me the passport and said i am sorry, i am unable to issue you a visa. she never checked any of my document. now planning to reapply for f1 visa.
