it was damn cool interview.
was prety easy ..it was over in 1 minute . I had to wait for an hour to get my chance .

gave my folder docs to the VO ..he started checking them ..he saw my degree certificate..then Said ..
Vo := oh you have a first class degree
me = yes sir
Vo = what are you doing after passing out Engg in 2006
Me := told that i am working in a software conpany
Vo = ok
Vo = How are you going to fund yourself
Me:= Told that i got full tution waiver
He checked the i-20 for few seconds
VO = your VISA is issued , you can go ,
Me := thanks sir
He dint even ask a single document of mine ..i dint even open the folder i carried .
was a cake walk !!!! I prepared all the docs and questions for almost and month !!
i have got my f1 visa on june 4th.
i reached the embassy at 7.00am as my interview was scheduled at 8.30am. i was allowed inside only at 8.15am. they frisked by folders etc and then i was sent to an indian officer. she took my passport ,i20,sevis fee confirmation,gre,tofel,dsforms,convocation certificate and arranged them in a blue folder. i was sent to next building and there i saw the vo\'s/ there were 3 guys and 2 ladies. i was made to stand in a big line that dispensed applicants to any of the three guys based on availability.
my interview was like this..
me: hi sir ,good morning ,how are you? *with a smile.
vo :hello sir ,i am fine (i handed him the folder)
he saw all the forms and then stopped near i20 and then saw the convocation and asked
vo: how many backlogs
me: none *with a smile.
vo: put your right middle finger on the thumb impresseion scanner.
while i put the finger he asked me what my father is and mother is just for time pass.
vo:work hard sir. hurray that means the visa is issued.
i got the visa that evening by hand.
simple funda : we all get tensed and so was i. keep the tense going and just remember before you start conversing with the vo that \"i will make it and smile in yourself\" ,..its very easy to get a visa unless the vo is fixed that he is not gonna give you.

hi...i got ma visa approved for fall 08 term...i can guarantee u dat..if u have a good percentage with zero backlogs and ok scores of gre and toefl u r going to make it though provided u dont screw ur funding answer...here is how my vi went

now dat joke was very imp coz vo was kinda gruelling his loooks..nd thinking everything was fake..which it actually was

i had interview very easily within no time.i am very
happy as i didnt open my docs file for a single docmnt
i hve appled for Arizona state university for Civil
engg
I had the visa interview on 5th june allocatedat 3:30
pm.i enterd the embassy at 2:45 pm and gone thru the
security check within few mins after initial checking.
Then i ws directed to the counter wher the mandatory
docs( I20,DS frms,Sevis,Gradn certf,passport MRV fee
recp.intrvw letr,gre tfl score cards... ) are
collecetd and given back in a folder.here itseld the
finger prints are taken.this all is over within
20minutes.
then i was directed to another building whre the
actual intervw is goingon.before me there are around
30people with slightly frightening afces(like me).
after standing in the line for 20 min myturn came.the
intrvw is taking place in only 3 counters even though
7 counters are presnt.

GRE,tfl.and after that i am have been learning civil
softwares

my sponsors are father,mother IncomeXXX and having
ficxed assests worthRSXXXX.(he is typing some thing in
computer then)
